Dried Mangoes

In terms of pricing, each brand did not vary that much. As 7D is the most famous brand, we mainly got those. 200g is around 260 PHP and 100g is around 132 PHP.

Here’s my personal ranking:

  1. Cebu 88 - Smells and tastes the most like real mangoes, but the hardest of all to bite. We’re still young, so this is fine.
  2. 7D - Chunks are in smaller, manageable pieces
  3. Cebu - Tastes a lot like 7D, but each chunk is bigger and kinda of stuck together more, making it hard to peel of a single chunk.

Other:

  • 7D Dried Mangoes (Chocolate) - It’s a special flavor. Will update this post when we actually open it and eat it.
  • 7D Mangorind - Good for distributing to colleagues and friends as they are wrapped separately and a small bite.

There were two versions of packaging, we got the packaging that looked “higher quality.” They’re probably the same on the inside though.

7D Dried Mangoes

This is the alternative packaging that just feels “not right,” especially the top left “Export Quality.” It feels like it did not print well.

Cebu Dried Mangoes

Last time my mom went to the Philippines, she bought this one, so we got it as well.

Cebu 88

We got this when we were about to leave, I felt like we need to try the other brands to know which is the best and randomly grabbed this one. Turned out, Cebu 88 was the best.

7D Dried Mangorind

Small goes to the office for work, so we got this to be able to distribute snacks to colleagues.

7D Dried Mangoes (Chocolate flavor)

We have yet to taste this one, but from what Mimi said, it’s great.
